Soelden, Austria - March 2002

Soelden is the main town on the Oetz Valley, to the south west of Innsbruck. The valley is famous for its low precipitation rates, as its sheltered on both sides with mountain ranges with peaks exceeding 3000m. That makes it a perfect skiing venue, even in warm weather – as it was 15C in the valley when we were there, yet the mountains high above had nice crisp powdery snow.
